The SailFit Experience
At SailFit, coaching is more than just running drills — it’s about helping each sailor progress at their own pace, with expert guidance tailored to their goals.
Coach Kurt Taulbee, a past US Sailing Team member and Level 3 certified coach, brings decades of racing and coaching experience to every workshop. Having competed and coached at the highest levels, Kurt understands not just the technical side of sailing but also the mental game that separates good sailors from great ones.
Whether you’re joining your first Learn to Sail workshop, sharpening boat speed in a Laser-ILCA clinic, or racing your Sunfish against a competitive fleet, you’ll benefit from personalized feedback, structured practice, and the kind of small details that make a big difference on the racecourse.
What sets SailFit apart is the supportive coaching environment. Every sailor — youth or adult, beginner or advanced — is encouraged, challenged, and given the tools to succeed. Workshops aren’t just about mastering maneuvers; they’re about building confidence, having fun on the water, and leaving with a renewed passion for sailing.
